The Bureau Veritas additional class notations "CLEANSHIP" and "CLEANSHIP SUPER" are assigned to ships that comply with the requirements of MARPOL convention, Anti-Fouling System convention and Ballast Water Management regarding the emission of polluting substances. Other class societies has also have similar requirement to comply with the MARPOL regulations.
